The other day, my Korean friend G taught me how to cook topokki.
G remembered that I liked it.
G's university major was food!
G's cooking lesson starts!!
1. boil a onion in hot water.
2. Add 1/2 soup ladle of Gochujang to 1. and add a tablespoon of suger(If you like.).
3. 3,4 minutes later, add ricecakes and odens to 2. and stew it.
4. Add "SHIN NOODLE",but a bouillon cube is a little(only a teaspoon).
(A whole bouillon cube is too much.)
5. Stew it in 1,2 minutes, then finish!!
This is 4 portions. We ate it completely.
It is called "RAPPOKI"correctly, not"TOPPOKI" because of adding noodle.
It is Korean home cooking , so its taste is different from each home.
It was spicy but sweet, so very delicious!!
G felt a little shy in front of us to cook it.
G said to us "Everyone should go out of my kichen except YUKI!".
Learning another country cook is fun!!
I'm earnest student, so I reviewed!!
Later, I went to a Korean supermarket.
(I was always spoken in Korean...They couldn't tell Korean and Japanese apart.)
And I bought same foods.
I said that boiled fish paste was oden, actually Korean said "ODEN".
Japanese and Korean have some same pronunciation words.
T said that "30fun massage muryo"is same pronunciation too, but I don't know.
1. boil a onion in hot water and add 1/2 soup ladle of Gochujang to it.
And add a tablespoon of suger.
(But my husband told me that it was too spicy,
so if necessary, you should reduce Gochujang.)
2. Add ricecakes and odens to 1.
This ricecakes aren't melted, not like Japanese MOCHI.
3. Stew it in a few minutes.
4. Add "SHIN NOODLE",but a bouillon cube is a little(only a teaspoon).
5. finish!!
I admited that I have done well.
(Oh, my husband told me it was too spicy...)
Next time, I want to know how to cook "japchae" whish G cooked for me before.
